Pune bus depots to get solar roofs

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd—the bus service provider for the city of Pune, in Maharashtra—has invited expressions of interest in installing 10 MW of rooftop solar across its estate.

The grid-connected rooftop and ‘elevated-solar’ projects will see developers pay the capital expense for arrays at the bus company’s depots, workshops, and charging stations.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the arrays plus operation and maintenance for 25 years.

The project duration is 9,125 days and interested bidders have until November 18 to lodge their interest.
