March 24 is the last date to submit bids for setting up grid-connected rooftop solar systems on domestic, government, and other buildings in the State of Himachal Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh has invited solar power developers to implement an aggregate 440MW (AC) of grid-connected solar PV systems under component A of PM KUSUM scheme.
The State is now self-sufficient in power generation with 22 GW of electricity produced per day from sources including water, coal, wind, and sun.
The grid-connected solar projects may be set up either as net-metered systems or systems for consumption within premises with no export of power. Bidding ends on November 29.
Bids are invited to set up more than 32 MWp of ‘RESCO mode’ grid-connected projects for sale of solar power to the Mandideep industrial area in the state. Bidding closes on August 13.
With more than 550 rooftops identified to save installation time and costs, the scheme will be divided into 27 project groups backed by the Madhya Pradesh and federal governments. PPA agreements are already in place.
