SJVN’s 200 MW Bihar solar project approved by electricity regulator
The State-owned hydropower producer will set up grid-connected solar power plants in the state and sell the electricity generated at an INR 3.11/kWh tariff under a 25-year PPA with the State Discoms.

The hydropower producer will sell the solar electricity generated from the plant to Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
Gensol wins solar EPC projects worth Rs 45.86 crore in India
The EPC provider has won an aggregate 13.2 MWp solar capacity from State-owned Central Electronics Limited, in addition to projects from Gas Authority of India Limited, Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Reserve Bank of India.
Bihar tenders 4 MW grid-connected floating solar projects
Of the total capacity, 2 MW is to be set up over a government water body at North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited Circle in Dharbanga, while another 2 MW shall come up over any private water bodies in the state. Bidding closes on September 12.
