The levy on modules will then almost double to 40% within a year and cells will see a similar rise, from an initial rate of 15%.
MNRE extends ALMM enlistment date for solar cell and module manufacturers
Due to temporary disruptions caused by Covid-19 epidemic and the current lockdown, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has notified six months extension in the effective dates for the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). The list is now set to apply from the end of September 2020.
Haryana retenders 57 MW grid-connected solar capacity
Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited has retendered ground-mounted solar capacity of 57 MW with relaxation in eligibility criteria. The projects—to be set up on build, operate and transfer basis—shall come up at three sites in the state and will be awarded through international competitive bidding. Bidding closes on November 25.
