Karnataka-based Emmvee Group is constructing a 1.5 GW cell line with integrated 1.75 GW module capacity in Karnataka. The new facility will expand its overall module capacity to 3 GW.

The central government and the state government of Karnataka have signed an agreement with Bengaluru-headquartered Rajesh Exports to lend support and a tailormade incentive package for its 5 GWh lithium cell factory in Karnataka.

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd has secured the letter of award to build a 255 MW hybrid (170 MW wind and 85 MW solar) power project in Karnataka. The project will supply power to Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd,

The company will consolidate six of its existing ten factories in Bengaluru to launch one of its largest smart factories, globally. The new factory will leverage new-age technologies for operational efficiency and reduced cost.

The two hybrid wind-solar projects, located in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, represent 300 MW of renewable energy capacity combined.

Ayana Renewable Power, Azure Power, EDF Renewables India, Sterlite Power, Torrent Power, and Vena Energy have committed investments in wind-solar hybrid projects in the state. 

The renewables developer will build a 1.2 mtpa green hydrogen and green ammonia project with integrated RE generation capacity in the state. 

ABC Cleantech, a part of Axis Energy Group, will invest around $6 billion (INR 50,000 crore) to build a green hydrogen and ammonia plant, integrated with 5 GW of renewable energy capacity, in the Indian state of Karnataka.

The factory will produce measurement solutions for a wide variety of industries, including power, and cater to domestic and global consumption. Its modular design allows the expansion of production capacities and new products in line with the market demand. 

The energy major launched the first of these electric vehicle (EV) chargers for the four-wheeler and two-wheeler segments in Bengaluru today.
