Hindalco mulling solar panel manufacturing

Hindalco, a mining and metals arm of Aditya Birla Group, plans solar panel manufacturing leveraging its capabilities in metal production. The company has reportedly identified Mundra (Gujarat) as the location for its manufacturing facility.

Adani to supply 6.6 GW of hybrid solar, thermal power to Maharashtra discom

Adani Power Ltd has secured a Letter of Intent from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) to supply 6.6 GW hybrid solar and thermal power. The 5 GW solar component of the contracted power will be supplied by Adani Green Energy from its renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat.

Thermax enters SOEC technology license agreement with UK’s Ceres

Under the agreement, Thermax will manufacture, sell, and service stack array modules (SAM) based on Ceres’ advanced solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) technology for green hydrogen production.
