Tata Power’s EcoCrew programme, a pioneering initiative in environmental education, has achieved a significant milestone by reaching 500 schools, certifying 1.5 lakh students as EcoCrew members. This movement stands as one of India’s largest platforms for energy literacy, fostering a new generation of environmentally conscious citizens across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

With over 50,000 minutes of interactive learning delivered, the programme educates young learners on critical topics including global warming, clean energy, solar energy, and energy conservation, alongside important government initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGY). The EcoCrew initiative has taken its educational outreach to numerous cities, including Banaras, Lucknow, Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Agra, creating a widespread impact on youth awareness and engagement in climate issues.

As a flagship initiative under Tata Power’s renowned Club Enerji platform, EcoCrew is one of India’s largest school-based energy literacy programmes, designed to nurture an environmentally aware and responsible generation by conducting interactive workshops, creative activities, and fostering peer engagement, the programme empowers students to become lifelong advocates for sustainability, emphasizing the importance of responsible climate action within their communities and homes.

Tata Power continues to expand its outreach under the ‘Sustainable is Attainable’ movement, which focuses on making clean energy solutions accessible, affordable, and aspirational for all. The company’s sustained efforts in education reflect its deep-rooted belief in empowering communities through awareness, action, and long-term impact.
