Tata Power wins twin honours at CBIP Awards 2019

Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility, won twin honours at the recently held Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) Awards 2019 in Delhi. While the company won the ‘Company Category Award’ for best performing utility having integrated operation in generation, transmission and distribution, Ashok Sethi was felicitated with the ‘Individual Category Award’ for excellent contribution in power sector development by R.K. Singh, Union Minister of State for Power, New and Renewable Energy.

The awards recognized Tata Power’s contribution to the nation’s economy, demonstrated through leadership in all facets of the power sector including generation, transmission, distribution, trading and skill development.

Speaking on this achievement, Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD, Tata Power said, “We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious recognition from CBIP and deeply thank them for these awards.
