On the opening day of the Renewable Energy India (REI) 2025 Expo, Loom Solar, one of India’s fastest-growing solar solutions manufacturing companies, unveiled its latest range of advanced solar and energy storage technologies, reinforcing its strong contribution to India’s clean energy sector. The company showcased an extensive portfolio that included TOPCon and HJT solar modules up to 730 Wp (ALMM and BIS approved)Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ranging from 1 kWh to 5 MWh, and Made-in-India PV inverters available in both on-grid and hybrid variants from 3 kW to 50 kW. Together, these next-generation products mark a significant milestone in Loom Solar’s journey toward strengthening India’s renewable manufacturing ecosystem and advancing the nation’s net-zero ambitions.

At REI 2025, Loom Solar also introduced an expanded range of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) designed to replace diesel generators and enhance grid stability during peak load conditions. These energy storage solutions are engineered to provide decentralised, reliable, and uninterrupted power across diverse sectors.

Loom Solar also announced its upcoming 1.2 Gigawatt (GW) Giga Factory in Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to various advanced technologies, including Heterojunction (HJT) solar cell technology, one of the most advanced and energy-efficient solar technologies globally. The upcoming facility represents a major step in the company’s vision to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, drive technological innovation, and contribute meaningfully to India’s “Make in India” initiative. The factory will serve as a cornerstone for the company’s expansion into high-efficiency solar production, setting new benchmarks for quality and sustainability.

Speaking on the occasion, Amod Anand, Co-Founder and Director, Loom Solar, said, “Loom Solar has always believed in building technologies that empower energy self-reliance. As India transitions to cleaner energy, our focus remains on creating advanced solar, inverter, and storage solutions that make power accessible, reliable, and future-ready for homes, businesses, and industries alike. Our upcoming 1.2 Giga Watt Factory, along with our commitment to BESS and inverter manufacturing, represents not just an expansion of scale but a roadmap toward India’s clean energy independence. The future of India’s energy landscape is decentralised, resilient, and digitally enabled — and our showcase at REI 2025 reflects this vision.”

Expanding its focus beyond the retail market, Loom Solar announced strategic growth plans for the Developer and Government segments, recognising them as key pillars in India’s renewable energy journey. In the Developer Segment, the company aims to supply its high-efficiency solar modules, inverters, and storage solutions for large-scale projects under the PM-KUSUM Scheme, catering to installations starting from 1 MW and beyond. In the Government Segment, Loom Solar seeks to collaborate with major public sector entities, including Railways, Telecom, and DISCOMs, which are currently driving the majority of solar adoption in India. This strategic focus underscores Loom Solar’s commitment to building strong partnerships that accelerate clean energy implementation nationwide.

With the Indian battery market emerging as a crucial component of the energy transition, Loom Solar also announced its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing expansion plan. The company aims to locally produce advanced lithium-based energy storage systems that address vital energy challenges such as grid stability, peak load management, renewable energy integration, and generator replacement. By investing in domestic battery manufacturing, Loom Solar positions itself at the forefront of India’s energy storage revolution — a sector poised to redefine the country’s renewable future.

Loom Solar’s diversified product portfolio has been thoughtfully designed to serve India’s dynamic energy ecosystem. For residential users, the company’s intelligent systems enable reliable backup and efficient peak-load management. In the commercial and industrial sectors, its solutions provide uninterrupted, cost-efficient clean energy, reducing operational expenses and grid dependency. In agriculture, Loom Solar’s solar-powered irrigation and decentralised systems are enhancing rural productivity under the PM-KUSUM program. At the utility scale, Loom Solar’s high-efficiency TOPCon and HJT panels are helping strengthen the national renewable grid and accelerate India’s energy transformation.

Loom Solar invites policymakers, developers, and industry stakeholders to visit its pavilion at REI 2025 to experience the company’s next-generation solar and storage solutions firsthand. Through continued innovation, investment, and its commitment to sustainability, Loom Solar remains dedicated to shaping a self-reliant, technology-led, and sustainable clean energy future for India.
