Kshema Power, a Chennai-based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm specializing in renewable energy infrastructure, has secured a ₹108 crore contract to build a 400 kV transmission line in Andhra Pradesh.
The project involves constructing a 42-kilometer transmission line in the Ananthapuram district of AP, designed to carry electricity from a 1 GW wind farm. The single-circuit line will be installed on double-circuit towers, enabling efficient and reliable power transfer.
“We are happy to have this landmark project, which not only marks our re-entry into the high-voltage transmission segment but also reinforces our commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure in India. This achievement paves the way for significant growth at Kshema Power and will create new employment opportunities, contributing positively to both industry and society. We look forward to delivering this project with excellence and building on more such opportunities in the future,” said Dr. Sateesh Basant, Managing Director of Kshema Power.
Kshema Power’s scope of work includes the entire project lifecycle—from design approval to material procurement, civil construction, tower erection, regulatory clearance management, testing protocols, and final commissioning. The company will deploy expert teams to ensure the project runs smoothly while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
