KPI Green Energy Limited (KPI) and KP Energy Limited (KPE) today announced two major Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Inox Solar Limited and Inox Wind Limited, respectively, both part of the INOXGFL Group, to jointly develop a combined 5 GW of renewable energy projects across India. The two collaborations include 2.5 GW of solar and solar-hybrid projects led by KPI Green Energy Limited and 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects led by KP Energy Limited.
KPI Green Energy Limited and KP Energy Limited currently have ~6 GW in various stages of the pipeline and aim to reach a goal of 10 GW overall, with the new 5 GW partnership as a major contributor. Both companies expect to complete these joint projects within three years, leveraging land and grid evacuation approvals already in hand.
Under the MoUs, KPI Green Energy Limited and KP Energy Limited will lead project development, including land acquisition, right-of-way (ROW) management, statutory approvals, connectivity, comprehensive EPC and Balance-of-Plant (BoP) execution, supply of steel structures (solar MMS), and O&M of balance-of-plant infrastructure. The Inox entities will supply core renewable energy equipment, including solar modules and wind turbine generators (WTGs), along with engineering expertise, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and long-term O&M support for equipment.
Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Founder and Chairman and Managing Director of KP Group, said, “These agreements mark a major milestone in KP Group’s mission to build world-class renewable energy infrastructure at scale. By combining our development, EPC, and execution strengths with INOXGFL Group’s manufacturing and engineering expertise, we are creating a robust, future-ready platform capable of delivering high-quality solar, wind and hybrid projects across India. This collaboration reinforces our long-term commitment to India’s green-energy ambitions.”
The combined strengths of KP Group’s proven on-ground development capabilities and INOXGFL Group’s manufacturing, engineering excellence, and technology depth establish a powerful platform for delivering large-scale, integrated, high-efficiency renewable energy assets. This collaboration enhances value-chain integration and accelerates the growth of utility-scale renewable projects in alignment with India’s national clean-energy transition goals.
The partnership positions both groups to jointly pursue new opportunities across the renewable energy value chain, strengthen supply-side reliability, improve project timelines and execution efficiency, and accelerate the deployment of high-impact clean-energy infrastructure across India.
