GPS Renewables and Nimaya Partner to Empower Women from Rural Communities with Future-Ready Skills

GPS Renewables (GPSR), the world’s largest biogas engineering company, and Nimaya, a not-for-profit career accelerator for women, have joined hands to equip women from rural communities with essential soft skills to help them thrive in modern workplaces.

The partnership aims to provide women with access to employment opportunities in the green energy sector through immersive soft skills training, covering behavioral and workplace skills, digital proficiency, leadership development and placement support for career-building opportunities. The first skilling session was conducted at GPS Renewables’ facility in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh.

Commenting on the partnership, Navya Naveli Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, Co Founders, Nimaya Foundation, said, “At Nimaya, we believe the green sector is going to be a creator of meaningful employment in significant numbers, especially for women.
