Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in India and Southeast Asia, is pleased to announce the signing of 25 MW of wind projects for global industrial manufacturers at its upcoming wind parks in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The customers will procure power from these wind parks on a captive basis to meet energy requirements at their manufacturing facilities in the respective states. These projects mark Cleantech Solar’s entry into combined wind and solar solutions, offering clients hybrid power to meet their renewable energy goals.

These long-term green energy partnerships with the customers are expected to generate over 1.5 TWh of clean energy during the lifetime of the projects, amounting to a reduction of nearly 1,434 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions. Cleantech Solar is the turnkey wind energy provider, and these wind projects will be designed, financed, built, and operated and maintained by the developer through the term of the agreement. In addition to wind power, Cleantech Solar shall also provide solar power to these customers.

Mr. Raju Shukla, Founder and CEO of Cleantech Solar, said: “Extremely happy to see our wind projects being signed across India. Along with signifying our entry as a hybrid green energy provider, these projects are a testament to the trust customers have reposed in our high-quality renewable energy solutions. The combination of both solar and wind technologies will enable the industry leaders to significantly increase the proportion of renewable energy powering their operations by providing a reliable and consistent source of power. This will accelerate their green energy transition and we are delighted to be their partner of choice. Look forward to the successful commissioning of these wind projects!”
