Advait Energy Transitions Limited (formerly Advait Infratech Limited), a leading provider of power transmission and energy infrastructure solutions, has announced a significant order win from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). The order relates to the ERS package ERS-II, covering the procurement of Emergency Restoration Systems (ERS) for 400kV transmission lines, valued at ₹87.29 crore (inclusive of taxes).
Awarded on October 6, 2025, this project is among the largest ERS-related orders placed in recent history and will be executed over a period of 18 months. The development reinforces Advait’s role as a critical partner in building a resilient national grid and strengthening India’s high-voltage transmission network.
Advait’s Emergency Restoration System (ERS) solutions are engineered to ensure uninterrupted power transmission in the event of tower failures or disruptions. As a Make-in-India initiative built to international standards, these modular systems are designed for rapid deployment across voltage levels from 33kV to 800kV. By minimizing downtime and operational losses during emergencies, Advait’s ERS technology provides utilities with reliable, cost-effective, and scalable restoration capabilities. With rapid response kits and intelligent modular designs already in use across continents, Advait is eyeing a significant share of the Indian ERS market by delivering systems that combine speed, safety, and durability.
Strategic Significance
This win underscores Advait’s ability to deliver solutions that address urgent grid reliability needs and support India’s ambitious energy transition goals. With ERS systems being central to ensuring stability in high-capacity transmission lines, the order further consolidates Advait’s leadership in providing specialized infrastructure for the country’s evolving power landscape.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Energy Transitions Limited, said:
“We are delighted to receive this important order from PGCIL, which reflects the growing confidence in our solutions. The scale of this project highlights how essential ERS systems have become for the stability of India’s transmission network. At Advait, we remain focused on building dependable, Make-in-India systems that can respond quickly to challenges on the grid and help keep power flowing without interruption.”
