Bidders have until April 29 to lodge their interest to install and commission a 20 MW ground-mounted solar project for Central Coalfield Limited (CCL). The plant shall come up at CCL’s coal handling and preparation plant in Piparwar village. Solar cells and modules of any origin are allowed for the project.

The digital communication solutions provider, which provides data center services through its arm Nxtra Data, has inched a step closer to meeting the year 2021-22 target by commissioning a 14 MWp captive solar plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant will supply power to its core and edge data centers in the State.

Domestic bids are invited to install and commission a 1 MW captive rooftop solar plant at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. Operation and maintenance of the plant for ten years also falls under the bidder’s scope. Bidding closes on April 26.

The state-run power producer, which already has a 140 MW solar project operational at Bilhaur in Uttar Pradesh, has announced part commissioning of a second PV project in the town.

The module can be used for residential and commercial PV projects. It is available in five versions with power outputs claimed by the company of 390-415 W and reported efficiencies of 20.0-21.3%.

With Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) as the offtaker, the project takes Tata Power’s cumulative solar capacity under development in Gujarat to 580 MW.
