Adani to supply 6.6 GW of hybrid solar, thermal power to Maharashtra discom
Adani Power Ltd has secured a Letter of Intent from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) to supply 6.6 GW hybrid solar and thermal power. The 5 GW solar component of the contracted power will be supplied by Adani Green Energy from its renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat.
Sunsure Energy to supply 21 MW solar power to Lupin’s Tarapur facility
Sunsure will supply solar power to Lupin from its 100 MW (150 MWp) PV plant in Solapur.

AMPIN, Sumitomo form corporate renewables joint venture

SECI launches tender for 2 GW of solar

Italy’s first agrivoltaic tenders draws bids for 1.7 GW
Italy’s Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE) says it has received 643 bids totaling 1.7 GW in its first agrivoltaic tender. About 56% of the proposals have come from the country’s sunny southern regions.
SECI launches 2 GW/8 GWh renewables-plus-storage tender
Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) is accepting bids to set up 2 GW of renewable energy projects backed with energy storage systems for assured peak supply of 8 GWh (2 GW x 4 hours). Bidding closes on Oct. 14.
Apraava Energy secures 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan
Apraava Energy has secured a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with NTPC for a 300 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected solar energy project. It will develop the project on a build-own-operate basis in Rajasthan.
