Brookfield and Reliance have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the production of solar panels, long-duration battery storage, and other renewable energy equipment in Australia.

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has secured the letter of award from REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) to develop a 550 MW solar project. It won this project at a tariff of INR 2.56 ($0.031)/kWh through competitive bidding in the RECPDCL auction.

Adani Green Energy recorded a consolidated net profit of INR 323 crore ($39.3 million) for the April-May-June period of 2023. 

The 400 MW wind-solar hybrid project will supply clean electricity to commercial and industrial customers, including Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco Industries, Larsen & Toubro, and MG Motor, amongst others. 

The state-owned power generator reported a net profit (profit after tax) of INR 4,066 crore ($494.34 million) in the April-May-June period of FY 2023-24.

Adani New Industries Ltd has raised a trade finance facility of $394 million from Barclays and Deutsche Bank, securing the working capital requirements of its integrated solar module fab. 

Servotech Power Systems has launched Techbec Green Energy to produce EV charger components and lithium-ion batteries. The new unit will have a 40,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Haryana.

The nation installed a cumulative solar power capacity of 70.10 GW as of June 30, 2023. Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka together account for more than 50% of the overall PV installations.   

JSW Energy will set up a 3,800 tonnes per annum (tpa) green hydrogen plant for supply to JSW Steel. Green hydrogen production at the plant will be powered by 25 MW of renewable energy.
