The Solar Power Developers Association (SPDA) is now Sustainable Projects Developers Association (SPDA), representing solution providers across solar, wind, hybrid, battery energy storage systems, green hydrogen and green ammonia sectors.  

Waaree Renewable Technologies has reported a revenue of INR 150.06 crore (around $18 million) and a net profit (profit after tax) of INR 18.29 crore for the quarter ending Sept. 30.

Gensol Engineering Ltd will install and commission a 62 MW AC grid-interactive solar PV project along with the associated power evacuation system up to the designated substation in Maharashtra. The scope also includes five-year operation and maintenance support. The total project value is INR 302 crore (over $36 million).

Husk Power Systems (Husk) has raised over $100 million in equity and debt to fund its new solar minigrid projects in South Asia and Africa. The company said the new capital would support 1,400 new minigrids, around 300,000 new connections, and avoid 350,000 tonnes of CO2 from the displacement of diesel generation while adding 2,500 new direct jobs.

Solar Energy Corp. of India Ltd (SECI) is accepting bids to set up 2 GW of interstate transmission grid-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects anywhere in India. The successful bidders will develop the projects on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis. Bidding closes on Dec. 4.

Servotech Power Systems has filed a patent for its technology that enables third-party entities to control load shifting in a battery energy storage system. It has also applied for a patent for its technology to channel renewable energy into BESS effectively.

Oriana Power has secured new solar projects aggregating to 16.831 MWp capacity under the company’s RESCO business segment. Torrent Power will set up a 3.7 MW solar plant for consumption by Benzo Chem.
