Hyderabad-based Bondada Engineering Ltd (BEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dubai-headquartered Bryanston Renewables FZCO to jointly develop renewable energy-powered data centers in India and select international markets.
The partnership aims to address the rapidly growing demand for sustainable digital infrastructure while supporting the expansion of energy-efficient and renewable-powered data ecosystems.
The MoU establishes a collaborative framework between the two companies to develop data centre project packages powered by green energy.
“Bharat’s digital economy is expanding at an unprecedented pace, driven by rising data consumption, cloud adoption, and the push for domestic data storage capacity. This growth brings with it a critical need for energy-efficient and future-ready data centre infrastructure,” said Bondada Raghavendra Rao, chairman & managing director, Bondada Group. “At Bondada, we are uniquely positioned to address this requirement by integrating our strengths across renewable energy, telecom infrastructure, and engineering capabilities.”
“By combining renewable energy with next-generation digital infrastructure, we are committed to building sustainable solutions that support national priorities, strengthen digital resilience, and create long-term value for communities and stakeholders,” added Rear Admiral R Sreenivas, VSM (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Bondada Group.
