Waaree Energies Ltd has appointed Jignesh Rathod as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following the recommendation of the Company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approval by the Board of Directors.
Rathod, who currently serves as Director – Operations, has been appointed as CEO-Designate with immediate effect and will formally assume the role of CEO after a structured transition period. In a stock exchange filing, Waaree Energies informed that Amit Paithankar has tendered his resignation to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. The Board has accepted his resignation and agreed to relieve him with effect from May 15, 2026, or such earlier date as may be mutually agreed.
“With over 18 years of experience at Waaree Energies, Rathod brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong execution track record across manufacturing operations, capacity expansion, technology integration, and large-scale project execution. He has played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s manufacturing capacities, driving operational excellence, and strengthening quality and process systems aligned with Waaree’s long-term strategic vision,” stated Waaree Energies.
The Board also placed on record its sincere appreciation for the outgoing CEO’s valuable contributions to the company.
