Waaree Energies emerges as India’s largest ALMM-approved solar manufacturer, crossing 20 GW

Waaree’s Chikhli (Gujarat) manufacturing facility is now listed in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) with an approved capacity of 16.444 GW. This takes the company’s total solar module manufacturing capacity in India, including Indosolar, to 20.17 GW.

The updated ALMM list also includes new high-efficiency modules such as G12R TOPCon, G12 TOPCon and G12 HJT modules from the SG Chikhli plant.

“The inclusion of advanced TOPCon and HJT modules positions us strongly to meet evolving project requirements while reinforcing supply chain confidence for developers and policymakers alike,” said Sunil Rathi, executive director, Waaree Group.
