Pahal Solar has signed an agreement with RenewSys for the supply of 500 MW of EPE (EVA–POE–EVA co-extruded film) encapsulants to be used in its solar module manufacturing operations. The deliveries are scheduled to take place between Nov. 2025 and March 2026.

The encapsulants will support Pahal Solar’s expanding module production capacity.

RenewSys’ EPE products are designed to offer durability, resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID), and compatibility with advanced solar cell architectures, including TOPCon technology.

The agreement reflects Pahal Solar’s focus on sourcing domestically manufactured components for its production lines.

Paresh Shingala, chairman & managing director, Pahal Solar, said, “Our commitment to quality has been our core. Incorporating RenewSys’ high-quality materials into our production, ensures long-term performance and enables us to deliver modules that are consistent, durable and future ready.”

Avinash Hiranandani, vice chairman and managing director at RenewSys added, “This 500 MW agreement with Pahal Solar demonstrates the growing confidence in our EPE technology and our commitment to enabling India’s transition toward high-efficiency, domestically manufactured modules. By supplying world-class encapsulants designed and produced in India, we are supporting the nation’s Atmanirbhar [self-reliant] manufacturing mission and contributing to a stronger, more resilient solar ecosystem.”

Pahal Solar, headquartered in Gujarat, operates a fully automated 3 GW module manufacturing plant with AI-powered quality assurance to serve diverse clients across residential, commercial, and industrial segments in India.

RenewSys manufactures solar encapsulants, backsheets, and is commissioning high-efficiency cell manufacturing capacity.
