Mumbai-based Onix Solar has secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Vikran Engineering to supply non-DCR TOPCon 620 Wp solar modules. In a regulatory filing, the company stated that it has received an order worth INR 148.80 crore, excluding GST, from Vikran Engineering, an emerging multi-sector engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company. At under INR 13 per watt, the pricing is in line with prevailing market rates for non-DCR modules.
Under the LoI, Onix Solar will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, factory acceptance testing, and supply of 193,550 non-DCR TOPCon 620 Wp solar modules for the Vikran project. The company is expected to supply the entire order within three months from the date of manufacturing clearance issued by Vikran Engineering.
