Insolation Energy (INA Solar) has reported significant progress on its upcoming 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing plant and 18,000 metric tonnes per annum aluminium frame production facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.
For the 4.5 GW TOPCon G12R solar cell plant, civil and pre-engineered building (PEB) construction works have begun in full swing. Major equipment orders for the manufacturing line have been placed, with advance payments released. Utility design packages are in the final stages of discussion, and long-lead items are being procured to keep the project on schedule.
The 18,000 TPA aluminium frame production unit is also progressing well. Civil works and PEB construction are underway, with foundations being prepared for the main plant. Major plant and machinery orders have been finalized and advance payments issued.
Further, Insolation Energy expects to fully operationalize its 4.5 GW PV module manufacturing plant at Sawarda, Jaipur by January 2026. Of the planned capacity, 3 GW has already reached commercial production, and the remaining 1.5 GW is expected to come online by January 2026. The company has also received BIS certification for its G12R panels up to 635 Wp, with ALMM approval anticipated soon.
In addition to these manufacturing milestones, Insolation Energy reported a strong order pipeline, including 1.75 GW of solar module supply orders and 625 MW of EPC project orders.
