RenewSys, an integrated manufacturer of solar PV components, announced that it has secured a long-term supply agreement with ZNShine Solarworld, a division of Solarworld Energy Solutions, to supply high-quality encapsulants for 400 MW of solar panels. Deliveries will take place from November 2025 through February 2026.

EPE (EVA-POE-EVA) encapsulant is a multilayer film consisting of a thin layer of POE (polyolefin elastomer) sandwiched between two layers of EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate), produced through a co-extrusion process. This construction is designed to harness the best attributes of both EVA and POE encapsulants.

“This agreement underscores the growing preference for advanced, high-efficiency encapsulation materials as module manufacturers worldwide transition to next-generation cell technologies,” said RenewSys. “RenewSys’s EPE encapsulants—engineered for superior PID resistance, enhanced durability, and long-term reliability—are specifically designed to support high-efficiency architectures such as TOPCon.”

Solarworld Group is a vertically integrated solar solutions provider with more than 12 years of industry expertise, a robust 1 GW+ project portfolio, and 1.8 GW of module manufacturing capacity. With its new manufacturing setup coming online, the company has partnered with RenewSys for a long-term supply of high-quality encapsulants.
