Waaree Energies has announced that its subsidiary, Sangam Solar One, has commenced operations at its 1.5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Samakhiali–Kutch, Gujarat. The plant comprises two module production lines with an annual capacity of 750 MW each.
This follows the start of operations at the company’s Chikli facility in Navsari district, Gujarat, where Waaree has installed two solar module lines with an annual capacity of 1,050 MW each, totaling 2.1 GW. Production at this site began on Nov. 14, 2025.
As of Sep. 30, 2025, Waaree had a total solar module manufacturing capacity of 18.7 GW (16.1 GW in India and 2.6 GW in USA). Its solar cell manufacturing capacity at Chikli facility is now fully operational at 5.4 GW—the largest cell manufacturing facility of its kind in India.
