Waaree Energies announced this week that it has received an order for supply of 360 MW solar modules from a domestic company. The manufacturer said the order is placed by a developer and owner-operator of utility scale solar and energy storage projects.
The supply of solar modules is scheduled in FY 2025-26.
Waaree Energies reported a total income of INR 6,226.54 crore for Q2 FY2026, marking a stellar 69.96% year-on-year (YoY) growth. Net profit (profit after tax) for the quarter surged by 133.78% YoY to INR 878.21 crore.
The company achieved 2.64 GW of production in Q2 FY26, driven by a strong operational focus. As of September 30, 2025, the company’s order book stood at 24 GW, valued at INR 47,000 crore—comprising 59.5% overseas and 40.5% domestic orders. (This order book includes both for Waaree Energies’ solar manufacturing business and the solar EPC arm, Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd.)
Waaree’s total solar module capacity reached 18.7 GW (16.1 GW in India and 2.6 GW in the USA), while cell manufacturing capacity stood at 5.4 GW.
