Gautam Solar is set to launch its 635 Wp and 640 Wp G12 R TOPCon PV modules at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, to be held from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 at Greater Noida.
The modules are ALMM listed and BIS approved. These are built with 132 half-cut bifacial cells based on G12R (210×182.3 mm) rectangular wafer format, offering an enhanced output with power conversion efficiency of up to 23.69% efficiency and bifacial gain potential of up to 30%.
“Featuring 132 rectangular cells, these high-wattage modules are almost similar in size as compared to standard TOPCon modules and deliver approximately 5% higher power generation than them,” stated Gautam Solar. “These modules are easy to handle and their superior power density allows for greater energy output using less installation space, making them ideal for rooftop and utility-scale solar projects. This not only optimizes land utilization but also results in reduced Balance of System (BOS) costs and a lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).”
Gautam Solar is targeting a solar module manufacturing capacity of 5 GWp in 2025, up from its current capacity of 4 GWp. It is also setting up a state-of-the-art solar cell manufacturing plant to further strengthen its integrated manufacturing capabilities.
