Vikram Solar wins 148.9 MW module order from Sunsure Energy

Vikram Solar today announced that it has secured a major order of 148.9 MW of high-efficiency solar modules from Sunsure Energy, a leading renewable energy solutions provider for businesses and utilities transitioning to green power.

The modules, rated at 595 Wp each, will be deployed in Sunsure’s projects across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Under this contract, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced M10R n-type TOPCon modules to Sunsure Energy.

This order from Sunsure follows a series of significant wins for Vikram Solar this year, including 200 MW from AB Energia, 336 MW from L&T Construction, and 326 MW from Gujarat Industries Power Co. Ltd.

Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, Vikram Solar has a cumulative module production capacity of 4.5 GW. It is a ‘Top Performer’ in PVEL’s PV Module Reliability Scorecard 2025 and has been included in the Tier- 1 solar PV modules manufacturer list of Bloomberg NEF. Founded in 2014, Sunsure Energy enables corporates across India to embrace clean energy through long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) that offset up to 100% of their power use with round-the-clock clean energy from solar, wind, and battery storage. Sunsure is backed by Partners Group AG with an equity commitment of $400 million towards its vision of building the largest industrial decarbonization company in India and SE Asia. It has 600 MW of operational assets, 7.1 GW under various stages of development across states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Karnataka, with a target of 10 GW by 2030.
