ACME Group has appointed Jitendra Agrawal as chief operating officer to lead the growth of its renewable energy equipment manufacturing business in India and key international markets. In this role, Agrawal will spearhead ACME’s ambitious growth plans and strengthen execution capabilities as the company firms up new investments to scale up the manufacturing business. This move is part of the company’s long-term strategy to be present across the renewable product and ancillary equipment value chain.
Jitendra Agrawal, COO of ACME Renewable Equipment Manufacturing Business, said, “Our strategic entry into the renewable equipment manufacturing business marks a significant milestone in our journey to contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy transition. We are committed to scaling up this business through new capacity enhancing investments, strengthening our portfolio and investing in manufacturing capacity.”
ACME Group has established a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Jaipur with an investment of INR 230 crore. The Jaipur facility is designed to produce high-efficiency solar modules to cater to diverse applications—like utility-scale power plants, KUSUM projects, export opportunities and rooftop installations.
The company has launched the ACM-HD144N n-type TOPCon bifacial dual glass mono modules with has peak power output of 600 W. These dual-glass modules come with a 30-year performance warranty.
The solar modules are designed to withstand harsh conditions, including exposure to salt, ammonia, sand, and other damaging factors. They have been tested and certified by major international standards such as IEC, UL, and ISO. ACME is also currently working on expanding its manufacturing capabilities through backward integration and scaling up its existing production capacity.
