Acme Cleantech Solutions has emerged as the successful bidder in Solar Energy Corp. of India’s (SECI) 11th green ammonia auction under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2A). It secured annual supply of 20,000 tonnes of green ammonia to Indorama India Pvt. Ltd. (IIPL), Haldia, West Bengal, at a price of INR 64.74/kg.  This marks its sixth win in SECI’s green ammonia auctions under SIGHT Scheme.

In SECI’s 10th green ammonia auction, also under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2A), a tariff of INR 62.84/kg was discovered for the annual supply of 25,000 tonnes of green ammonia to Paradeep Phosphates Ltd in Zuarinagar, Goa, with Acme Cleantech Solutions  emerging as the winning bidder.

Tariffs discovered in SECI’s green ammonia auctions to date have ranged between INR 49.75/kg and INR 64.74/kg. “From Odisha to Gujarat, Andhra to Goa, India’s Green Ammonia footprint is steadily widening. Each auction adds not just capacity, but also depth—demonstrating that the offtake model continues to provide confidence, even as tariff levels reflect the realities of diverse geographies, scales, and participation dynamics,” stated SECI.
