NTPC Renewable Energy commissions 49 MW solar at Khavda

NTPC Green Energy Ltd today announced the commissioning of 49.125 MW of solar capacity at the Khavda Solar Energy Project in Khavda, Bhuj, Gujarat, through its wholly owned subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NREL). This capacity is part of a 300 MW solar installation, which contributes to a larger 450 MW hybrid project.

Earlier, the first phase of 142.2 MW and the second phase of 32.8 MW were declared commercially operational with effect from June 28, 2025, and June 30, 2025, respectively.
