NTPC tenders PV module supply for 2.5 GW of solar projects

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), on behalf of NTPC Rajasthan Green Energy Ltd—a joint venture between NGEL and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RVUNL)—has invited bids for the supply of PV modules for 1.5 GW of solar projects. These projects will be developed at the RVUNL Solar Park in Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The last date for bid submission is Aug. 19.

In a separate tender, NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) has invited bids to supply PV modules for 1 GW of solar projects in Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur and Chitrakoot districts. The scope includes manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, and transportation of open-category crystalline bifacial solar PV modules with a minimum nominal output of 570 Wp.

The total DC capacity of modules to be procured under this tender is 1.45 GWp—comprising 870 MWp for Lalitpur and 580 MWp for Chitrakoot. Bidding closes on Aug. 19.
