Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has reported a consolidated net profit of INR 824 crore for the first quarter of FY 2025-26, up 31% year-on-year (YoY) from INR 629 crore in Q1 FY 2025.
Consolidated total revenue increased 29% YoY to INR 4,006 crore, comprising INR 3,312 crore from power supply, INR 429 crore from sale of goods/equipment and related services, with the balance from other income.
EBITDA from power supply grew 31% YoY to INR 3,108 crore, with an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92.8%. Cash profit rose 25% YoY to INR 1,744 crore.
Driven by robust capacity additions and strong operational performance, energy sales jumped 42% YoY to 10,479 million units—surpassing the total annual energy sales of FY 2021-22 in a single quarter.
“Strong revenue, EBITDA, and cash profit growth is primarily backed by robust greenfield capacity addition of 4.9 GW, deployment of advanced renewable energy technologies, superior plant performance, and new capacities in resource-rich sites in Khavda (Gujarat) and Rajasthan,” said AGEL.
AGEL’s operational capacity increased 45% YoY to 15.8 GW, including a greenfield addition of 4,882 MW in Q1 FY 2026. The company commissioned 3,763 MW of solar, 585 MW of wind, and 534 MW of hybrid power plants during the quarter.
