Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), Tata Power’s renewable energy arm, has commissioned 752 MW of solar projects in the first quarter of FY 2026 — marking its highest-ever quarterly addition. This represents a 112% increase from 354 MW commissioned in Q1 FY25.
With the Q1 FY26 commissioning, TPREL’s total utility-scale operational capacity now stands at 5.6 GW, including 4.6 GW solar and 1 GW wind. It plans to commission an additional 1.7 GW of utility owned capacity and 1 GW of third-party projects during FY26.
Tata Power targets 7.3 GW of total operational capacity by the end of FY26, including 5.6 GW of solar and 1.7 GW of wind.
