Sunkind Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ConfirmWare PV Manufacturing Solutions to establish 4 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity in India. Under this partnership, Sunkind will leverage ConfirmWare’s advanced stringer and automation technology to set up high-precision, technologically advanced production lines.

The first product under this collaboration will be a 610 Wp high-efficiency TOPCon module based on M10 cells, aimed at industrial and utility-scale solar applications.

Hanish Gupta, founder and managing director of Sunkind India, said, “At Sunkind Energy, we believe manufacturing must be driven by technology, not just capacity. With this collaboration, we are aiming to bring the right processes, latest machines, and brightest minds together to build solar modules that can power India’s industrial growth for the long haul. With ConfirmWare, we are adding not just scale, but precision and adoption to our journey.”

Virpal Yadav, director & COO of Sunkind Energy, said, “We are building our manufacturing backbone with a clear focus on long-term performance and reliability. This collaboration ensures that the systems and processes we put in place today will remain relevant and resilient for the next phase of solar growth in India. Our upcoming manufacturing capabilities are designed to meet PV module demand through a powerful blend of Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence—ensuring precision, innovation, and reliability in every module we produce.”

The 4 GW capacity will be developed in phases over the next 24 months, with facilities spread across multiple regions in India to enable localized production, faster market response, and decentralized logistics. Each location will be optimized for supply chain efficiency and future scalability.

Martin Ma, international sales director, ConfirmWare PV Manufacturing Solutions, added, “Our engineering team has worked closely with Indian manufacturers to customize production systems that meet both global benchmarks and local requirements. With Sunkind’s strong execution track record, we’re confident this partnership will set new standards in module manufacturing.”

Founded in 2019, Sunkind executes solar projects on EPC basis. With over 150 MW of projects delivered and a growing footprint across multiple states and diversified sectors in India, it is now expanding into solar cell and module manufacturing, energy storage, EV infrastructure, and single-axis tracker based module mounting structures.
