SEPC Ltd (formerly Shriram EPC Ltd) has secured an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for a 133 MW AC solar power project in Maharashtra. The project has been awarded by Parmeshi Urja Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kolkata-based integrated power utility India Power Corp. Ltd (IPCL).
SEPC announced that it has received the Letter of Award for the project, which is valued at INR 650 crore. The solar project will be developed across 26 locations in four districts of Maharashtra.
Parmeshi Urja was established by IPCL to undertake the generation, transmission, distribution, and trading of both conventional and non-conventional energy sources in India and abroad.
