Acme Solar has commissioned an additional 112.5 MW of its Sikar PV project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, following the earlier commissioning of 52.5 MW in early May. With this latest addition, the total commissioned capacity of the project now stands at 165 MW out of the planned 300 MW, with the remaining capacity currently under commissioning.
This milestone increases Acme Solar’s operational capacity from 2,592.5 MW to 2,705 MW.
Once fully commissioned, the project is expected to generate approximately 780 million units of clean energy annually. The electricity produced will be sold on power exchanges on a merchant basis and will be allocated based on optimal commercial utilization.
