Waaree Renewable Technologies has established a wholly owned subsidiary named Sunsational Power for power generation from non-conventional energy sources.

The newly formed entity will engage in the generation, accumulation, transmission, distribution, purchase, sale, and supply of electricity or other forms of energy derived from non-conventional sources on a commercial basis. It will also establish, operate, and maintain power generation stations/plants. Additionally, the company will undertake activities such as managing, owning, controlling, erecting, commissioning, operating, running, leasing, or transferring power plants based on non-conventional energy sources—including solar, wind, mechanical, electrical, and hydel power.

Sunsational Power will also act as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for such power plants and will be involved in setting up solar parks and renewable energy systems across India.
