Adani Green switches on 50 MW solar at Khavda

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced today its arm Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six has operationalised incremental solar power project of 50 MW at Khavda in Gujarat. With this, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 14,340.9 MW.

“Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 5.47 a.m. on May 14, 2025 to operationalize the plant from May 15, 2025,” stated AGEL in a stock exchange filing.

AGEL is developing the world’s largest renewable energy plant at Khavda in Gujarat. In its investor meet recently, the company informed that in a span of two years, it has operationalized more than 4 GW of renewable energy capacity from this plant and is well on track to complete 30 GW by 2029. AGEL is deploying advanced technology like bifacial n-type modules, single-axis trackers, and robotic cleaning systems to ensure the maximum generation from Khavda plant.
