GAIL launches 17.5 MW floating solar EPC tender

GAIL (India) Ltd, India’s largest state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company, has invited bids to set up a 17.5 MW (AC) grid-connected floating solar PV power plant at its Pata plant in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, on EPC or lumpsum turnkey basis.

The scope of the project includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the grid-connected 17.5 MW floating solar PV plant along with power evacuation system at the final evacuation point. The contractor will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance support for the PV plant for three years from the completion of operational acceptance test.
