BHEL seeks EPC partner in pre-bid tieup for 1.2 GW Khavda solar plant

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has issued a global tender to select EPC partners in a pre-bid tie-up for 1,200 MW (4x300MW) Khavda Solar PV plant in Gujarat. The prospective contractor’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning including three years of operation and maintenance of the solar PV plant, along with power evacuation system excluding supply of PV modules and trackers.

A bidder can quote for minimum one block of 300 MW up to all four blocks of 300 MW each (4×300 MW=1200 MW).
