NTPC tenders 1.8 GW hybrid wind-solar power projects

NTPC Ltd has invited online bids from hybrid power generators for supply of 1.2 GW of power from wind-solar hybrid power projects with greenshoe option of additional capacity up to 600 MW. The projects are to be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis. These can be located anywhere in India and must connect to the interstate transmission system.

Bidding closes on Dec. 2.

NTPC Renewable Energy has tendered the EPC package with land for development of 300 MW of ISTS-connected ground-mounted solar PV project in Rajasthan. The project will be located near NTPC’s ANTA natural gas-fired power station in the Baran district of Rajasthan. The scope of work includes arrangement of land for the solar project and design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of the grid-connected PV project, including power evacuation system from the solar project to NTPC Anta substation and development of terminal bay at NTPC Anta Substation.

Bidding closes on Dec. 5.
