Smartgrid Analytics reaches 107 GW renewables milestone with Solvyn platform
Bengaluru-based Smartgrid Analytics (SGA) has surpassed 107 GW in global renewable energy assets commissioned through its Solvyn utility-grade software platform.
Smartgrid Analytics develops AI-driven, utility-grade software to manage, optimize and control complex renewable energy assets. Its Solvyn platform combines real-time asset visibility, grid-compliant dispatch and AI-driven intelligence for renewable energy and grid operations.
The company said Solvyn now supports more than 500 projects spanning solar, wind, battery energy storage, hybrid renewable systems and green hydrogen.

In FY 2025-26, SGA commissioned or delivered approximately 12.4 GW of new build capacity, while battery storage and hybrid projects surged to nearly 50% of company revenue, up from almost zero a year earlier.
“This transformation mirrors India’s shift from standalone renewable generation to storage-backed, firm, and merchant power, expanding SGA’s role from plant automation to real-time plant decision-making and placing Indian innovation at the core of the world’s energy future,” stated the company.
“Crossing 107 GW reflects the trust global clean energy leaders place in our technology. What is equally significant is how quickly the nature of our business has changed,” said Kumar M, Founder and CEO. “Two years ago, our storage-focused solutions were at the patent and product development stage. Today, storage and hybrid account for nearly half our business. A grid is no longer simply somewhere you inject power. Increasingly, you have to decide what to do next. That decision is what we build.”
SGA stated its deployments over the past year included two grid-scale battery projects for an Indian independent power producer (300 MW/1,400 MWh and 300 MW/600 MWh) and five distributed storage sites, among them a 22 MW / 44 MWh system for a metropolitan distribution utility. Hybrid projects in India included a 405 MW plant with 135 MW of co-located storage, a 435 MW site in Andhra Pradesh, a 600 MW master power plant controller in Madhya Pradesh, and a 250 MW project for a utility-scale developer.
Internationally, SGA delivered 1,254 MW in the Middle East for a global EPC contractor and entered a master services agreement with a power systems software firm covering over ten sites. Major projects included 1,500 MW in Abu Dhabi, 1,100 MW in Saudi Arabia, and additional work in Egypt, Azerbaijan, Oman, and Algeria. The company also completed an 80 MW project in South Africa and a 20 MW project in Uganda.
In the United States, SGA supplied a 75 MW battery project in California, providing grid code compliance logic for both CAISO and Southern California Edison. The project was commissioned in July 2025 and operates with support from Bengaluru. Exports made up 24.5% of SGA’s revenue, and projects without hardware contributed 20.6%, reflecting the company’s shift toward software-led solutions from India.
Solvyn, SGA’s AI-driven platform, supports automated control and market participation across more than 21 grid codes and 9 GWh of battery storage. The company is now expanding into demand-side management for data centres in India and the US, amid growing power constraints. Earlier in the year, SGA raised $3.3 million from strategic investors and clean energy veterans, and filed 21 patents, including two in the United States, covering digital twin modelling, EMS dispatch logic, and its AURA intelligence framework.
