NTPC Green commissions 81.34 MW solar in Bikaner
NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) Group has commissioned 81.34 MW of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, taking its cumulative installed renewable energy capacity to 11,058.57 MW.
The recently added 81.34 MW is the first phase of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project, which forms part of the 650 MW solar component of the 500 MW round-the-clock (RTC) project being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL.
The 81.34 MW capacity was declared commercially operational with effect from 00:00 hours on September 26, 2026.
With the latest addition, the NGEL Group’s total installed renewable energy capacity has crossed the 11 GW milestone
