Onix Renewable Ltd announced this week that its arm Onix Trans Stellar has secured 187 MW of solar projects in Gujarat under the PM KUSUM Scheme (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Uthan Mahabhiyaan). The projects will be distributed across 60 varied locations in Gujarat.
Onix won these projects by placing winning bid in the auctions conducted by the Government of Gujarat The power purchase agreement is executed with the state electricity distribution company Paschim Gujarat Vij Co. Ltd.
The projects were tendered for feeder-level solarization under Component C of these PM KUSUM Scheme. These are expected to be operational by December end this year.
