Solar Energy Corp. of India has announced Larsen and Toubro Ltd as the lowest bidder for 100 MW floating solar EPC project in Jharkhand. The plant is to be built at Getalsud Dam in the Ranchi district.
L&T’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar plant with five years of plant operations and maintenance. The project completion period is 12 months.
The total contract price for the EPC work and five years of operation and maintenance is INR 606.14 crore ($73.24 million).
