Energy Efficiency Services Ltd, under the Ministry of Power, intends to procure an aggregate 100 MWp quantity of solar modules rated 325 Wp or above for solarisation of agriculture feeders under Maharashtra government’s Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY).

Under MSKVY, EESL will set up small solar plants—of capacities ranging from 0.3 MW to 10 MW—on the spare land available within or around the premises of the substations in various locations of Maharashtra.

EESL will supply solar modules to system integrators, who, in turn, will establish solar plants and provide operations and maintenance for a period of 25 years.

Of the 100 MWp quantity, 80 MWp is tendered for polycrystalline silicon and 20 MWp for mono PERC. The bidder has to quote, in Rs/Wp basis, for 100% of the quantity in both the types. A single bidder may quote for either or both of the polycrystalline silicon and mono PERC modules.

The bidder shall design, manufacture and supply modules as per the schedule within one year from the award of contract or as intimated by the engineer-in-charge of the project. Further, it shall provide performance warranty for contract period of 25 years from the date of successful delivery of modules at the site.

All modules are recommended to be manufactured in the same factory.
