Together, the projects are SECI’s single largest allocation thus far, accounting for approximately 14% of the total allocated capacity of 360 MW that it has announced. Azure Power will provide power for 25 years to various government buildings across the states and union territories of Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, according to an online statement.

The tariffs for Azure Roof Power’s projects range from INR 3.19 – 3.97 ($0.05 -0.06)/kWh based on location. In addition, the Indian company qualifies for a capital incentive from SECI, which is expected to result in a weighted average levelized tariff of INR 4.65/kWh.

Azure Roof Power has one of the largest rooftop PV portfolios in the country, with over 150 MW of operational solar assets across 19 states.
