GREW Solar receives ALMM List-II approval for 2.4 GW n-type TOPCon G12R cell manufacturing capacity

GREW Solar has received approval for the inclusion of its 2,407 MW TOPCon G12R solar PV cell manufacturing capacity at its Narmadapuram facility in Madhya Pradesh under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-II for n-type TOPCon solar PV cells.

The approved manufacturing capacity covers bifacial TOPCon solar cells in the G12R format (182.3 mm × 210 mm ± 0.5 mm), featuring 16 busbars and PID-free technology. The cells feature efficiencies of 24.10% to 26.20%, with power outputs ranging from 9.12 W to 10.02 W.

GREW Solar, a venture of the Chiripal Group, is one of India’s fast-growing solar PV manufacturers. The company operates a 6.5 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Dudu, Rajasthan, with plans to scale its module manufacturing capacity to 11 GW. GREW Solar is also establishing an 8 GW solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, with plans to build 8 GW of ingot and wafer manufacturing capacity by 2028.

The company manufactures high-efficiency N-type TOPCon G12R solar PV modules for utility-scale and other solar applications.
